Once again, we will have an equipment check table to allow potential buyers of
used equipment to see if it is alive and generally functional. Our cliche' is
"We check it to 3db above DOA." Obviously, we have neither the equipment nor
the time to check to factory specs, but we will do some basic checks.
Examples might include:
Power supplies - does it put out full voltage at a moderate load.
Receivers - can we hear anything with a wire antenna. Do the major functions
work?
Transmitters - does it put out power on "Keydown." If it has a mic, does it
appear to modulate. Does the keyer work.

Obviously, we won't check distortion, ripple, sensitivity, selectivity, and
other factory specs. Remember "3db above DOA".
You get the drift.

Accordingly, you don't need a PhD in physics to assist. If you know how to use
a Digital Multimeter and have a basic knowledge of what a transceiver does, the
please consider volunteering for an hour or two (or more) over the 2 day event.
Others will be around in case there are problems.

time slots.

Tnx es 73
