My big black cat jumped on the keyboard just as I was sending the earlier message and name list was erased just as I hit the send button. So here is the complete e-mail.
The 22nd edition of the Greater Houston HamFest is completed and behind us. It was a great success with approximately 1100 attendees over the two days. Everyone seemed to have a great time and many of the vendors said to sign them up for next year. This year we had Expert Amps (Main Trading), Reel POTAable Antennas, and Mainely Applique (HamThreads) as new commercial vendors. As always we had Ham Radio Outlet back as well as many of our regular smaller vendors. Shack in a Box was not able to make the event due to transportation issues. Hopefully he will be back next year. Speaking of next year the dates for the next two years are - March 6th and 7th, 2026 and March 5th and 6th, 2027. I want to thank the over 40 volunteers that helped at this years Greater Houston HamFest. Without your help, the hamfest would have not happened. I think I covered everyone but if I missed anyone, I apologize.
