Hello Houston area radio mates. I have been contacted by about 10 different HAMS in the US about a scam facebook add with my picture and name and call sign on a Facebook marketplace add for radios for sale. Eddie pinged me today as there appears to be another one. In all cases, if you see such an add with my name on a facebook marketplace for a radio for sale, please put a comment in the add that it is a scam. Fortunately for the readers, the 10ish folks all asked if I was who I said because they found my [email protected] email address. Of course, the answer was "avoid at all costs".
