All, you can register a domain for a year for $12 and have something like
ki5jml.com as your domain name. Hosting runs $2-$3 a month. You can have
anything you want @yourdomain.com like [email protected] as an email
address.

You can also easily forward that address to any other existing email
address you have or just check the new email via browser. A simple one page
website is easy to make. Or you can just have something generic and just
use the email address.

If you know a friendly webmaster, they can usually do this all for you for
a hundred bucks or so. I can host a hundreds of other small websites along
with mine on a single account. If I can help anyone out shoot me an email
to [email protected]. I have been webmastering since 1998 and founded
quite a few sites along the way including my current ones.
