BVARC,

If anyone has any HF equipment for sale to help me get on the air, that would be a massive help. Send me a private email.

Fellow Hams,

I’m selling my Heathkit SB200 Amplifier that I recently restored.  The price is $500.00, picked up here in Houston.  Please check out all the upgrades I made during the restoration.

This is the amplifier that I presented to the club at Home Brew Night last December.   Those of you who attended the meeting know this is a real beauty.

The attachments to this email include the presentation I gave at Home Brew Night, and the post-restoration output curve.

Here are links to some videos that I’ve posted on YouTube are

https://youtu.be/G18TSg6jtxw  Restoration summary

https://youtu.be/foWbIHDlf8k  Band selection network wiring correction

https://youtu.be/Uza_8D7IetE  Post-restoration amplifier output test

I’m selling it because I need to clear out some things.

PLEASE NOTE:  I was not successful getting 10 meters to work with an acceptable SWR.  If this is an issue, the buyer will need to do some work on that band network.  Also, here is the standard qualifier:  The amplifier is being sold as-is with no returns.

I wanted to give the BVARC club members first chance at this before I post it on QRZ and/or ebay.   The price there will be higher than what I’m asking here.

Please let me know if you are interested.  It’s currently securely boxed and ready to transport or ship, but we can certainly take it out of the packaging for the buyer to see prior to heading to its new home.
