I never rant online, but I have been bothered by spurious spots by folks setting FT-8 spots as RTTY.. I gather there is a practice out there of listing FT-8 contacts as RTTY (I guess to avoid calling them USB), but when I see the spot for RTTY, I have to be careful to look at the frequency. I nearly all cases, the contact is actually FT-8. I am seeing responsible spotters reporting actual RTTY QSOs putting RTTY in the comments...which is good.
There, the rant is over and I will return to my iced tea and radioing. Vielen dank und 73, Don AD0K
