At the October BoD meeting, the BVARC Board approved having the BVARC membership vote on two proposals to amend the BVARC bylaws. Voting will take place at the November BVARC general membership meeting (not the Board meeting - the whole club is invited to vote on this).
Members can vote for or against one or both of these proposals. The first propsal would limit the office of President of BVARC to 2 consecutive terms, or until a replacement can installed. The second proposal would limit all offices of the BVARC Board to 2 consecutive terms, or until a replacement can installed. If the second proposal is (or if both proposals are) affirmed by Membership vote, the second proposal will dictate the language change to the bylaws. Exact language for the change has not yet been drafted. Join us at the November BVARC meeting to cast your votes for the open Board positions and to vote on these two proposals.
