So sorry I missed home brew night. It's going to be a favorite of mine for sure.
During last week's Stir Crazy net, esteemed member Maurice brought up a J Pole design that was circulating at the meeting, Using the calculator at https://m0ukd.com/calculators/slim-jim-and-j-pole-calculator/ we can find the starting lengths of material. 2 meters will be just about right... My 1/2" copper water pipe J Pole was 'expensive' as it used up a full 10 foot stick of water pipe, a tee, and an elbow. Soldering with a torch was necessary to make good joints. Messy. The 450 Ohm roll-up J Pole was trouble because the ladder line factory is offline and the material is getting hard to come by! I have some, but its a little hard to work with... I found 25 feet of 3/16" copper clad brake line on Amazon for $10. 3/16" is huge compared to the size of the wire. It's soft and very easy to work with. https://www.amazon.com/Tnisesm-Upgrade-Flexible-hydraulic-Transmission/dp/B0C6KHVCFB/ This material straightens out easily and then may be bent into the desired J Pole shape! 73 Dan KJ5IZK
