A Hammerlund 145C receiver was on the block, in Joe's auction, and went for
$1,600. On Ebay, one sold recently for $140 ($90 delivery).Life's been good for
Joe and good for charity.

As luck would have it, not that I was going to bid, Joe Walsh, WB6ACU, had a
charity auction on December 17 & 18. I’m not sure if any of his 800 items were
going to be ham radio gear but it would have been fun to browse. Proceeds went
to a Veterans Charity. Heres the Forbes article I found about it this morning
(a day late).
