I hate that I can’t do this, but amhappy to still be here! I am adding 2M and
70 CM capability to my limited ham shackand find that I cannot safely install
the antenna on a roof peak like I did onlya few years ago. I have everything
done except removing the old defective antennaand installing  a new Diamond
X‐30A. I installedthe old ‘home made’ antenna with a borrowed 20 ft. extension
ladder (no longer available).  I need someone younger than me to finish the
job.It also involves attaching the RG8X coax under the roof eves with cable
hangersand bringing it down beside the drain pipe. No RF connector work is
required.  I have all the tools and hardware necessary exceptthe 20 ft. ladder.
I expect to compensatemy helper in some acceptable manner.
Thanks,
