I have an Ambient  WS-2000 and it has been working fine for over four years.  I
have owned two Davis units and both failed after three years.  Also own a
Tempest One.  The Ambients seems to be the most reasonably priced and
integrateable through their AWN system, but both Tempest and Ambient work well
with WU and PWS.

I recently purchased a new weather station and chose this model specifically
because it supports HAM integrations like APRS.

The unit I purchased is the Ambient Weather WS-2000 Smart Weather Station with
WiFi Remote Monitoring and Alerts on Amazon:https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GRBY9NP

I paid $250, but as of today it appears to be listed at$300 (about a $50
increase). That same Amazon listing also shows a less expensive option—if
you’re considering it, I’d recommend comparing the models carefully before
buying.

For reference, here’s my station on Weather
Underground:https://www.wunderground.com/weather/us/tx/eagle-lake/KTXEAGLE53

Good luck, and 73,
Mike

Get an Ambient or Tempest One. Davis are super expensive and tech is dated.

Can anyone make a recommendation for a home weather station?

I would like it to have a wireless display for inside the house, but I also
would like to be able to see it remotely.  Temp, humidity, wind speed, rain and
snow precipitation.  Maybe historical data storage, etc.  Outside unit solar
charged too.

Anyone have such a recommendation?  It is going in a cold, mountainous
environment in Colorado.

Respond directly so as not to flood the reflector.  Thanks...
