Yes, but we need one for every net. John does great, but we definitely need
leads on all.
We also need a person that can make sure that we have other tasks needed
for the net and they are completed.
I already noted the goals needed to get done and get the word out for more
people. We also are putting together a little training for people that feel
they need it before they volunteer.
But -- note John does an awesome job with stir-crazy. I hope he continues
the awesome work he has done and hope to get him more attendees and more
help to do the net.
As we grow, I expect more nets and more times. We have a lot to get done
for our service status to be completed. Nets are a HUGE part.
I have even been talking with other areas about what they do and in Ill.
There are 2 groups that have 3 nets a day. All of them have to do with
radio news for one, another is local situational awareness, and another is
outreach to schools on repeaters.
I am hoping to get everyone as active as possible and this is one way.
Also, the members that are home bound also will have a chance to talk to
others if we get the nets going and get them some help communicating.
And as for getting the word out, I already 1) want to say that we are
getting people volunteering and 2) thank you all for volunteering.
