Dear Members,

First, a big thank-you to Rick Hiller for his excellent presentation on
receiving antennas at our last meeting. Rick did a fantastic job sharing
practical knowledge, answering questions, and giving many of us new ideas
(and possibly new excuses to build more antennas). We truly appreciate him
taking the time to present for the club.

Now itโ€™s time to mark your calendars for our next meeting:

๐Ÿ“… *March 12th*
๐Ÿ•– *7:00 PM*
๐Ÿ“ *Community Volunteer Firehouse*
16005 Bellaire Blvd
Houston, TX 77083

This monthโ€™s presentation will be given by *Richard Bonica* and will
cover *personal
safety and how to recognize when a radio operator may be in health distress*.
This session will focus on practical ways to identify when another operator
may be having difficulty โ€” even when they may not realize it themselves โ€”
and what steps to take to respond appropriately and safely. It will also
help us recognize signs in ourselves so we can address issues early, stay
effective, and continue being part of the solution rather than unknowingly
becoming part of the problem.

We hope to see everyone there for an informative and engaging evening. As
always, guests and prospective members are welcome โ€” and yes, youโ€™re still
allowed to talk about radios before and after the meeting.

73,

Richard Bonica, KG5YCU
President
