Just a quick heads-up. Kirc and I will be setting up both of the HC AUXCOMM vehicles tomorrow (Thursday) at the fairgrounds. We plan on deploying the Shakespeare vertical, as well as the EFDP on the Pneumatic pole, hopefully within reach of a building about 280' away. We will be:
* Deploying the MoToRola portables to GHHF personnel. * Issuing replacement batteries/charging the above * Monitoring LIVE Weather conditions and streaming numerous video sources as a demo. * Demonstrating our HCAUXCOMM AllStar/BM/DStar/P25/VoIP/Live Call-in connectivity system. * Working VHF, UHF on the talk-in frequencies and DMR on the TX C-Bridge to advertise the event * Working HF on the ICOM 7100 (+500W) and the FLEX 8600 (+1500W) on non-conflicting HF bands. * If there are any Tech folks looking to work HF, you will be more than welcome to 'step right in' and work our rigs. We will also demo WinLink/Pactor if asked. People wanting to get their ARES or COMU taskbooks signed off are also welcome! Look forward to seeing you folks this weekend!
