Nice of you to make such slanderous and libel statements in public, Steve. I'll
be forwarding this on to my lawyer. As far as decoordination, the procedure is
in the standards that must be followed.
You've just opened the door for a lawsuit against the society. A lot of
repeater trustees are pissed because of this kind of actions done illegally.
Read the damn coordination standards. You have to notify me by certified mail
that I'm being decoordinated and I have up to one year to fight it....and I
will be fighting it. 146.96 will be going up at its coordinated site at 1500 ft
soon. Go ahead stick somebody else on the channel. I'll be covering their ass
up and I have the FCC as well as the standards of coordination behind me. Keep
blabbing your mouth and you'll get a damn lawsuit yourself. I'm tired of this
crap. The VHFFM society is done so many things wrong in the last couple of
years without membership approval. Coordinating repeaters on 10 kHz splits on
two meters. That was never approved by the membership as required by the bylaws
Just keep blabbing and let me save all this and I'll be sure to forward it on
to my lawyer. Thank you very much. Hope you have good insurance cuz you're
going to need it

Howdy folks. I am a lifetime member of the club, but have only watched this
list since joining many years ago. This is my first post to the list. As a
matter of fact, I only got posting approved just yesterday. I wanted to set the
record straight, especially after comments from WB5ITT (stating that
information from the coordination body cannot be trusted) and some others that
posted some of their own ideas and speculation.
I am the repeater coordinator for Zone 2, which is Southeast Texas. WA5CYI
(Pump Handle to many of you) was the trustee up until June 01, 2014. At that
time, it was transferred to KD5YVQ, the now late Robert Polinski. Robert filed
paperwork to create a club, for whom he was the trustee. On October 10, 2014,
the repeater call sign was changed to his new club call sign, KG5EEO. When I
took over Zone 2 in 2016, Robert contacted me, and we discussed what would
happen to the repeater if something happened to him. He asked if he could have
a note on file that the repeater be transferred via a club-to-club transfer,
specifically to WR5AAA. I told him that I would make a note of his wishes.
Fast forward to present. Sadly, Robert passed away a couple of weeks ago, and
at his request, I did exactly what he asked me to do. I did a club-to-club
transfer to WR5AAA, which is the call sign you now hear on the 146.940
repeater. The trustee of that club is the B.V.A.R.C. past president, Mike
Hardwick.
As for WB5ITT, Chris, YOU seem to be the only person on here with an issue
against the Society. Why don't YOU tell these fine folks that YOU flat out lied
to me as the coordinator, about where your 146.960 repeater was located. Then
you moved it without even filing the appropriate paperwork. And don't forget to
tell them that YOU committed MULTIPLE FELONIES recently regarding same. There
are several other repeater trustees on this list that try to do the right
thing, and they have no beef with the coordination process, nor me. I'd say the
problem lies with CHRISTOPHER BOONE, and NOT the coordination body that you
continually verbally abuse on this list. As for the 146.940 Houston machine, I
changed the call sign in the database, and by now, the repeater should be
identifying with the same call sign, WR5AAA. As for your 146.960 repeater, it
has been de-coordinated, for willfully and intentionally falsifying information
on the coordination. Since you are a lifetime member, a previous coordinator,
and a past director, of all people, YOU should know the process and be able to
follow it, but you refuse to do so. After conferring with the state frequency
coordinator, you will be receiving the required 30 days notice paper copy in
your P.O.Box in the next few days. As of 3/21/26 the pair goes to the next
person on the waiting list.
