I see your name coming up from time to time on BVARC mails. Wondering if you
still fly, or if you still own airplanes. After Andrau shut down I flew out of
West Houston, Houston Southwest, and Sugarland; my last plane was a wonderful
Travelair twin now owned by the flight school at Hooks.
Let me know if you have time or inclination to chat, would love to keep in touch
Mike Ewer
Cordial greetings.

I need about a half dozen LMR400 PL259 connectors. I prefer the crimp type HIGH
QUALITY (Amphenol, etc.) ONLY. Does anyone on the SW side of town have any I
could buy? Or does anyone have an opinion on or experience with the connectors
available on Amazon?
It appears that the coax cables hanging from the top of my tower have
failed…been up there at least 10-15 years. I don’t think LMR400 likes to
stretch much, so likely the aluminum center conductor broke in some recent high
winds we had here. I have tomorrow to replace the cable or wait until after the
rains.
