Byron, I looked you up and saw youre in woodville. Houston POTA is activating Huntsville State Park on March 21st. That would be an excellent opportunity to see HF in action. You could probably take your newly acquired FT710 out there with you and Kori or Anthony or one of the many who attend would help you fire it up and get you comfortable talking on it. If youre on Facebook, look for Houston POTA or reach out to Kori. Hes also the BVARC VP.
