My coworker is traveling in Japan (from USA) through June 22 and this week he is going to activate a Summit per day this week. (SOTA, Summits On The Air). He plans to be set up and running by 2300 UTC every day this week (Sun-Fri). If you happen to hear any Japan stations, his temporary callsign in JQ7FWB. He will be running FT8 and/or SSB. You can track his daily progress here: Blog – Loudoun Amateur Radio Group <https://k4lrg.org/blog/> His June 14, 2300UTC Summit was Mt Kamabuse: JA/AM-020 - Kamafuseyama (6pts, 878m.) <https://www.sotadata.org.uk/en/summit/JA/AM-020> The USA/FCC License Class he holds only determines his output power, so I don’t know where on the Japanese bandplan he will be operating. Enjoy… Maybe you can pick up Japan! 73/Chris/AC5CM ------------------ Brazos Valley Amateur Radio Club Official Club Website: https://bvarc.org * GET INVOLVED: Help a committee! https://bvarc.org * SUGGESTIONS: Have an idea or a grievance? https://bvarc.org/home/suggestions * MEMBER ROSTER: Look up a friend (New!): https://bvarc.org/roster.php UNSUBSCRIBE or CHANGE SETTINGS: https://bvarc.org/home/club-listserver/
