There is only one. It is Field Day, the biggest, most populated, and most
visible of all the contests we enjoy.

For new hams, this is a golden opportunity to meet other members. Working
together to erect antennas, string coax, and set up radios and operating
positions will establish friendships and relationships that will last a
lifetime. Plan to come out on Friday morning

to help.

The official BVARC/TDXS Field Day is being held at the Fort Bend County Fire
Field located at 260 Clay Street in Richmond, TX. I have created a live
sign-up sheet accessible at tiny.cc/FieldDay. We already have some top
operators signed up, including K5GN, KU5B, KT3X, W5PR, and more are expected,
including KG5U. Even if you cannot commit to a specific time, come out; there
will likely be an operating position available and several experienced
operators who can share thier knowledge and expertise.

And, a reminder, what goes up has to come down. A lot of help can make short
work of decommissioning our site and returning the Fire Field to its original
condition.
