Because we don't want KPPP to store any account info we use to setup/
test the modem. It's better to forget to turn it on than to forget
to turn it off. Once we know the modem works, we can then enable
storing the password.

I had a look at Open Clip Art:

http://openclipart.org/downloads/index.php

Wow! Uncompressed, that's 300+ MB of clipart, which is a lot of
space for some of the smaller drives. Some options:

1) put it in the image
2) create two images: one with, one without clipart
3) put the clipart on a CD
4) put a subset of the clipart in the image

Thoughts?

Nice. Do we have a nascent FAQ anywhere?

Good idea. BTW, do we have an SOP for installing modems? If we do,
can someone e-mail the SOP or point me to it?

FYI, bworks_shop has its own wiki:

http://bworksshop.pbwiki.com/

The password for editing it is "student". I'm not a fan of this
wiki's formatting style, but it will do for now.

BTW, in searching and browsing through the archives I came across a
few more ideas for the new image (e.g. auto-dial when web surfing).
I also came across this message which I never got:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/bworks_shop/message/446

Good info there. Yahoo may be flakey, but at least there are archives.
