Because we don't want KPPP to store any account info we use to setup/ test the modem. It's better to forget to turn it on than to forget to turn it off. FYI, bworks_shop has its own wiki: http://bworksshop.pbwiki.com/ The password for editing it is "student". I'm not a fan of this wiki's formatting style, but it will do for now. BTW, in searching and browsing through the archives I came across a few more ideas for the new image (e.g. auto-dial when web surfing).
