Questions about the INITIAL TRIAGE section: if we install a cloned
drive, then does it matter what the original hard drive even was? Right
now we're just pulling them out and labeling the drives as "to be
cloned". Also, I'm not sure what you mean by BIOS entry?

Things to add in the Final Testing section:

- space for the student's name or login name. By the time we configure
email, a machine is specific to a particular student.

- space for the computer's ID number -- Dr Walter keeps a log of every
machine that goes out the door, and each is assigned a unique ID.

Just a suggestion, but FINAL TESTING really includes installation/setup
and final testing. Maybe a quick division between the two:

INSTALLATION/SETUP:
- check BIOS boot sequence (maybe this should go under INITIAL TRIAGE?)
- install cloned drive
- install modem
- install sound
- install CMOS battery if needed
- set up dialup networking
- configure email

FINAL TESTING:
- verify system clock unchanged (if not, fix CMOS battery, reset BIOS)
- sound test (play audio file)
- CD-ROM test (play music CD, read data CD)
- floppy drive test (write to, read from floppy disk)
- modem test (dial up via KPPP, log onto Internet)
- student name or username recorded
- computer ID number recorded
