Got it.  It is indeed sweet.  Works just fine with IDE drives, laptop  
drives, and CD/DVD reader.  Will try burning a CD and DVD in a bit.   
The power cord that comes with it is able to power my 2.5" external  
FW drive.

This device will be ideal to ...
  - image drives
  - test IDE drives
  - test CD-ROMs, DVD-ROMs, and burners
  - test laptop drives
  - install to laptop drives

Very nice device.  I'll bring it in on Saturday.
