Yes, at some point in the future, PXE installing is probably worth pursuing. However, presently, I doubt very many of the machines we get can PXE boot, which is required: "And the most important thig is that your client computers support booting over the network. You should check each computer's BIOS for this option." So, while our current method of installing machines is probably not the best, it works good enough for now. In the near term, we probably want to focus on other tasks, like getting a steading supply of modems that work under Linux, triaging our existing hardware, and using/selling/recycling that hardware.
