Hello all,
I overhauled the shop server, the one used to clone drives. Here are
the changes:
- one big partition (40 GB)
- OS is ubuntu 6.06, with Kubuntu, Ubuntu, and Edubuntu desktops installed
- "student" is the username
- there is no root password. Use 'sudo' to do work as root.
- gzip archives of the student database are in ~/Desktop/bworks/backups
- tar-balls of the Windows desktop are in ~/Desktop/bworks/backups
- images and scripts are in ~/Desktop/bworks/{images,scripts}
- current images include our latest Debian image used for student machines
