I would not like to extend our programs to the St. Charles area. We do not have
the manpower to take on more responsibility.
Our manpower is insufficient to handle the Shaw area with the Children and
Adult Programs.
I don't like to stiffle new ideas (and certainly encourage them) but am
concerned about our commitments.

A group called "Youth in Need" has among its clients foster care
clients. The state of Missouri deems these people from homes where
their parents could not support them "self sufficient" at age 18, just
like you and I were, right?
I would approach them and determine if classes were appropriate and
really do some exploratory questioning. This could, with Board
approval, become another social service of ByteWorks.
As I see this, a principal role would be coordination and organization
and the initial leadership. The powers that be in St. Charles are big
on private initiatives, but they can respond with grants or other
support when needed.
