Their website was somewhat offline (in a kind of good way) due to increased interest in the program.
http://scratch.mit.edu Here's some good articles about it: Boston Globe article: http://tinyurl.com/29gn82 BBC Article (Also mentions the "Hackety Hack" program) http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/technology/6647011.stm A note of interest is that school interviewed by the The Boston Globe said it has about two dozen students who flood the computer room every Friday wanting to work with the Scratch program. Maybe we could get a programming workshop off the ground by merely opening up the Byteworks computers to students who want to do extra stuff after the classes for maybe 90 min. or two hours. Sure, there could be instructional lessons. However if an instructor would be unavailable, the kids could just use the Byteworks facilities to experiment with the Scratch program, as long as there would be a supervisor or two present. For more info on Hackety Hack, google it, or I have a Byteworks wiki page started at: http://wiki.bworks.org/doku.php/hackety_hack --Nate
