Hello all, The next EAC Youth session starts in a little under two weeks (Nov 3rd) and I was wondering if I could get three other volunteers to help me do the administrivia for the class. In the past Dr. Walter has been doing a majority of this on his own. However, since he has been doing so many other things, I thought it would be nice if we lighten his burden. In fact, I've asked him to be completely hands off and only supervise us and help us with questions.
So, what I need is three volunteers who are fairly comfortable with e-mail, google docs/sheets, MS Access, modifying the wiki, and talking on the phone, or is willing to learn those skills to carry out the tasks for the next EAC youth class. The tasks will be almost identical to last class and are outlined here on this wiki page: http://wiki.bworks.org/doku.php/2007-09_youth_class That page is not complete. So, we will be modifying the process a bit as we go along. Also, if you are familiar with the technologies mentioned above, you won't even have to come to BWorks. You can do some or all of them from home or elsewhere. In addition to relieving Doc, the goal of this project is not for one person to do all the work or even for the work to be divided up. Instead, each volunteer should do enough of the whole process to become sufficiently familiar with it to teach another volunteer. I will be starting the process for the next class this Wednesday evening, October 24th. Please let me know if you are interested before then.
