For those of us who don't have plastic (i.e. credit card, debit cards, gift cards, etc.) there's a rather convenient way to purchase items on the Internet using cash: get an Amazon voucher from Coinstar. When I tried this the other day, I didn't take great notes, but here's the general idea of how I did it:
1) visit a local Coinstar[1] 2) select cash input 3) select Amazon voucher for the output 4) input your cash 5) press done to get your voucher 6) visit Amazon.com to find your products 7) at "checkout" enter the coupon code from the voucher My recollection of steps 2-4 are somewhat hazy, so follow the instructions on the Coinstar machine, which are quite good. Some tips: - with the Amazon voucher there are no counting fees, unlike some of the other products Coinstar offers - you can combine vouchers at the Amazon website - if you purchase items that quality for "super saver" you don't pay for shipping I'll try to take better notes next time so that we can put it up on the blog. Feel free to beat me to the punch. [1] http://locator.coinstar.com/map.aspx?language=EN&country=US&zip=63110 Regards, - Robert
