$40 seems to be about the lowest price for any USB wifi device, unless
you go to eBay[1].  Also be careful with the Belkin one. It has to be
v4001 as earlier versions don't work as well.

In this case, I think wifi is a bonus as wired Ethernet networking
works just fine as is.  A 6-ft Ethernet cable is under $10 and often
comes with a DSL package.  We could even crimp our own.  All we'd need
are crimpers, which we may be able to borrow from volunteers.
