Friday evening, I was talking on the phone with Ken and he asked about an
e-mail message he had sent earlier. I hadn't received it. He said it hadn't
bounced. We checked the address he had used. It sounded OK. He sent another. We
waited. Still no message.
Saturday, I went in to the shop to pick up the letter he was trying to send and
we visually checked the e-mail address he was using, sent a few more tests,
etc. - Theresa to the rescue! She tried sending a message from me to me. Even
it didn't work so she sent a message to Yahoo help. (Guys don't ask for help.
:-)  Last night, Yahoo Help responded and said that they had checked and I was
blocking my own address!  I knew what address blcking was but I had never used
it. Anyhow, when I checked, sure enough, there were a couple of hundred
addresses being blocked. Most of them were spammers but there were about 20
addresses of BWrks volunteers in there. Among them, Ken, Patrick, Theresa, Nate
etc.  I still have no idea how any of the addresses got on the list but I
unblocked all of the BWorks volunteers and apologize to all of you who have
sent messages to me and received no reply.
Note: When Yahoo blocks a message, it does not bounce it. I just throws it away!
Your messages should come through now without problems. If not, call me on
636-391-9436.
I'll continue to try and figure out how the addresses got blocked in the first
place.
