Along with other giveaway items, what if we had some Ubuntu 8.04 CDs? (For those who don't read the bworks_shop list, it looks like we will be changing from Debian to Ubuntu come January 2009.) We can easily burn some install CDs, and we can also easily make labels for them. I have some adhesive Avery CD labels and also Avery foldable sleeves for CDs (both will work in a standard inkjet printer, the blanks are 8.5x11 sheets) which I am willing to donate for the cause. I played with this last night, and came up with one possible layout for the CD: http://wiki.bworks.org/ubuntu_804_cdlabel If anyone has a better label layout, PLEASE go for it! -- I am no graphic designer. I haven't even tried to make up a foldable sleeve design, yet. Also, we are out of CD-Rs in the shop, so we need to get some. (If we're placing an order for office supplies, could we ask for a whiteboard for the shop, too? :-) Let me know what you think of the idea -- if it's a "go", we need to get moving quickly. Theresa
