Two options come to mind: 1) sticker or tape 2) a container or designated section > If we go downstairs and test and keep 16 monitors, then we have no idea > if we have enough monitors for the next class. Alternate between the two. > Given the Kanban method, how do I answer Nate's question, "Do we think > that we could support another 14 computers every 8 weeks ...?" and > still be fair to all of us volunteers (especially those of us with > pickup trucks who make W.I.T.S. runs) who are working so hard to keep > this thing going? Nate's question is a rate question, which can be translated into "how fast can we fill the containers?" Taking inventory won't really help you answer that question. Inventory tells you how many you have now how fast you can build them. As for using kanban, here are details and examples on the pre-wipeout wiki: http://wiki.bworks.org/restore:kanban Regards, - Robert
