The new API is now available. I'll probably try and get us moved over to it this weekend. I'm happy to see that the data is now available as well. It would likely speed up page load times a bit, if we query it locally rather than repeatedly making RESET calls for the same data.

In addition there are now regular dumps of all of the legislator information offered in the API, so if you were mainly using the API as a source of all current legislators it is possible to obtain this without writing any code.
