I responded to this privately via email, but just so there's a record of the 
answer to this (in case anyone else has the same question) - 1.7.9 was a Java 
release, so this question would be better asked on dev or user list (or issue 
tracker) for the java version of Axis, rather than the issue tracker for the C 
version.
