The Schema for Schemas is is special schema that is allowed to do things that others are not (such as define the base types). You therefore cannot use it. In addition to this there are *many* rules that are not expressed in that schema that are in the text of the specification. Take a look in the archives if you want more info - this has been extensively discussed before.
