I'm easy, as long as there's progress being made. I just don't want
us to stall out. I know I'm going to have to be busy elsewhere soon,
so am trying to nail this down.
Also, I have some stuff I'd like to get merged in for a stable 2.x
branch.
Or did we already create a branch for 2.7?
I already created a Xerces-2.7 branch. You should feel free to merge
into both 2.7 and the 3.0 trunk (ideally both, though I know your
mutex patch will cause some conflicts for me in PlatformUtils.*).
- You have other platform changes you're planning to contribute
soon to 3.0-unstable?
I don't, although I could do some testing on HP-UX 11 (both PA-RISC
and
Itanium), Windows (MSVC 6, 7, and 7.1), and some Linux and Solaris
testing
under some VMWare-based distributions. I believe I have Fedora
Core 3,
Redhat 9, and Solaris 10 x86 (with Sun Workshop and GCC 3.4.2
Testing and/or contributions would be much appreciated. I know the
Windows stuff is completely broken at present and needs some care. I
_think_ Alberto is at least looking at some of that.
Any testing or patches for Linux, Solaris, etc, would be much
appreciated. I've tested on Mac OS, a bit on FreeBSD. I know Axel
Weiss has done a bit of work on Linux. Other than that, I have no
idea how we fare ;)
