Confusion in installation docs of Xerces-C++ on WinXP using Visual Studio

I read over the installation instructions and it seemed to have a section on
Windows 2000, its not clear thatt if anything differs from the binary version,
the user needs to download the source and recompile it for their system. Or
they need to place the name of the library in the additional dependecies list
for the project.
