After cruising the archives and the FAQ for building and the actual
build
tree, I'm still ignorant of if it is possible to get the build system
to generate
static libraries for xerces-c or not under a unix system (specifically
Linux).
Is there a runConfigure/configure way of enabling this yet? Preferably
I would like to do this for 2.6. If there isn't a way using the
autoconf
tools, is there a canned method used by others already?
