I guess I was somewhat disappointed in the way SWIG makes one handle language bindings. It wasn't really about your work on Xerces-P but rather on the SWIG's way of doing things (e.g., having a lot of language-specific fragments in the interface definitions). I must add that my knowledge of SWIG is non- existent and even now I may be stating things that are not true (e.g., maybe there us a way to define interfaces in a language-independent manner). So I think I better stop talking about things I have no sufficient knowledge of. > Thanks Boris, I appreciate the help. The GNU auto* tools are not > obvious to me - your help is valuable there. No problem. Let me know when you make the decision about how to handle Xerces-C++ dependency and I will help you setup autotools files.
