Hi all, Since the beta 1 release we've made good progress in resolving issues uncovered by beta-testers and fixing a number of remaining important bugs. Furthermore, all public interfaces have been changed to use 64-bit safe arguments.
I would therefore like to publish the second and hopefully last beta for 3.0.0 at the end of this or beginning of next week. Unless some important problems are found, the plan is to not modify any public interfaces or make any major changes between this beta and the final 3.0.0 release. Here is my +1 for the beta.
