If the error message is accurate, the XPath subset should be as
described in
http://www.w3.org/TR/2004/REC-xmlschema-1-20041028/structures.html#coss-
identity-constraint.

Subject: xerces 3.0 XPATH syntax

Has anybody used XPath support in xerces 3.0 ? I googled a lot to find
out
some samples . But no luck.. Please let me know anybody has a sample..

Now I am running the DOMPrint sample provided along with the library .
when
I provided an input like "/test/[EMAIL PROTECTED]" I got the
following
error

"expression has incorrect syntax or contains XPath features not
supported by
the
XML Schema XPath subset"

What is the XPath syntax supported by xerces XPATH implementation ?
