During Xalan building facing some errors but I am not sure weather I
am using compatible versions or the actual building errors:

I have never built the products on HPUX, Solaris, AIX, or MacOSX.
I have performed successful builds (without ICU) using GNU/Linux
and Windows (VC7.1, VC8, VC9, VC10).
