It's time once again to remind everyone about trimming
message.
Those who leave the list are invited to answer an *exit
survey!*
Some that have left have complained about *lack of*
trimming messages as one of the reasons.
Please REMEMBER to trim the messages BEFORE sending them through the list.
TRIM
1) ALL footers
2) ALL signature blocks from previous messages
3) ALL headers
LEAVE IN 1)
Person's name and email address -- from old
message
2)
ENOUGH of the message so that we know what it is that you are responding too
3) ENOUGH of the message -- so that anyone
picking up a message in the middle of a thread will know what the thread
is all about.
SIGNATURES
1)
ALL signatures SHOULD *NOT* BE MORE THAN 8 lines
MAX (including separator lines and spaces.
2)
SHOULD BE .... DIRECTLY BELOW the message you are
writing. NOT at the end of the entire message/page.
These are standard rules of netiquette.
Please follow them. They will be enforced.
