That is probably my problem: I don't know if I'm going forward (C++) afterwards.
C is the "official" language on my machine, not sure if C++ compatibility is
100% working.
Anyway, it seems pretty much consensuous that, for long term, C++ is the better
choice. I'm going to hunt for a basic C++ book, see if I click with it. My
experience so far has been almost non-existent. C I can understand, but C++
seems more complicated, so to speak.

So, thanks for all your answers, hope to report later to show what (and if) I
learned. ;)
