So if I may add my (actually completey superfluous) 2 cents: This thread is slowly turning into one of those threads which are first ugly to read, second leading to ugly thoughts, third completely off-topic regarding the purpose of this group, and fourth utterly useless when it comes to facts. Please, let us all stop this thread before it can turn into a real nightmare; we've had enough nightmares of this kind already. We all don't know enough about one another to judge most of our group comrades. Yet it is a valid point to make assumptions out of observation; this is normal scientific behaviour, adopted by human beings many thousands of years before (or else we wouldn't be able to learn at all). So the two things we all should learn from this (and similar threads) are: 1) no one (and I literally mean NO ONE) should ever felt insulted by assumptions originating from observations. In particular not if the observer clearly indicates that he/she made assumptions. 2) It is far better to explain observations if you can than to counter them with platitudes. And explaining does NOT mean to agree with the observations but to cope with them in detail, in depth, and in general. Again: please, no platitudes, no personal insults, and no hard feelings. No one is perfect, and many of the breaches we receive during our lifetime hurt us solely because we take them as insults. Regards, Nico
