Quick search on Google for "c++ polymorphism" comes up with a few
reasonable examples. You know you've hit it when you encounter Base
Classes and the 'virtual' keyword (Chapter 10, section 2 in Safe C++
Design Principles).

I personally don't like the word "polymorphism". People get confused
and start spouting off incorrect nonsense. I have to run a Google
search to remember what it means - I just use it and don't really care
what people call it. The phrase "base classes" carries more meaning for
me because you derive classes from a base class and pass the base class
around. Polymorphism is a fancy word and I don't like fancy words
because my brain doesn't do fancy words.
