I know this is of topic but I also know that there is a lot of knowledge
stored in this groups members. The VC++ 6 group that I found is
generally a spam and p o r n group. So I dumped that group.

I am using a Windows 2000 Pro OS on a home computer. I have been
working with the SQL 7 and the VC++6 (not Dot Net) on a database
learning project. I'm using the QUE Special Edition online book. The
project is in chapter 23. The project uses the sample pubs database.
The problem is I can not create a Stored Procedure. When I right-click
on the Stored Procedures folder in the Data View, I need to find an
option for New Stored Procedure. However all I see is: Docking View,
Hide and Properties. I have reinstalled the server and recreated the
project but it did not help. I tried the SQL Server community and got
no help. The MS Community groups don't seem to have any interest in old
stuff (SQL 7 server).
