Do you use Windows? Or any other operating system like Unix? Do you
use a word processor? Or a web browser? Or a 3D game? All written in C
or C++

Whoever said that is very very wrong. C and C++ are still very much
used in professional programming. I bet you will find the majority of
commercial software is written in C or C++.

How much commercial software can you name that has been written in Java?

Perhaps... depends on what you mean by systems programming. In
general, most system interfaces (like on Unix) are C APIs.

Most of it, not "some". There could be a few bits written in assembly language.

The word is 'guys'. 'gays' has a very different meaning in English.
