Mono (a.k.a. a disease*) only works for some .NET stuff. Kind of like Wine - sometimes it'll work, sometimes it won't and depends entirely on the application. The developers of Mono are generally "despised/shunned" by both the Windows and *NIX communities. Although, the relationship is more like - Windows = "It exists but we don't care" - Linux = "Bad developers. Naughty developers. Making .NET available for our platform is a huge no-no" (at least that's the impression I've gotten). * 'Mono' has to be the worst choice for the name of a modern software project. It ranks right up there with the 'MUMPS' programming language (another poorly chosen name but at least the right industry uses it). -- Thomas Hruska CubicleSoft President Ph: 517-803-4197 *NEW* VerifyMyPC 2.5 Change tracking and management tool.
