Do you think it will do much good? For reference, the OP had joined 5
minutes before posting their questions.

If they're losing the welcome message after that short a time, I don't
think repeating it monthly will help matters.

In fact it's more likely to annoy the regulars (as another group's
monthly postings do for me.)
